This year the celebrations of the World Athletics Gala crowned Usain Bolt and Sanya Richards as Male and Female World Athletes of the Year 2009. Hosted by International Athletic Foundation (IAF)Honorary President HSH Prince Albert II of Monaco andIAF and IAAF President Lamine Diack, the 2009 celebratory occasion was held in the Salle des Etoiles of the Sporting Club d’Eté in Monte Carlo. Throughout the gala evening, and thanks to Ernest Obeng, IAAF Television Manager and Vincent Watelet from CIS Monaco, Action provided graphics LED Element Labs VersaTile for the first time in Monaco and the South of France. The system has been created and designed to deliver great video display and lighting effects to staged events, offering not only bright and dynamic colours, but also more subtle and pastel colours in its output.
